Minimalism, done right, is the hardest and most rewarding form of luxury.
For me, minimalism has never meant empty rooms, fewer objects or a lack of ornamentation. It is about clarity. About understanding what a space truly needs — and having the discipline to leave everything else out.
I’m drawn to spaces that don’t try too hard. Spaces where the material speaks for itself, where light has room to move, where proportions feel instinctive and every piece has a reason to be there.

I believe luxury is often found in the details that aren't immediately obvious the warmth of a natural stone, the texture of a fabric, the craftsmanship of a joinery detail, the way a piece of furniture sits within a room rather than simply occupying it.
My approach to design has always been about editing rather than adding.
Every project begins with understanding the people who will inhabit it, the architecture that surrounds it and the feeling the space needs to create. From there, everything is intentional — the materials, the palette, the furniture, the lighting and, just as importantly, the empty space between them.
At SILFIRA, I’ve built a team around this belief.
We don’t design simply to create something that photographs beautifully today. We design spaces that should still feel beautiful, relevant and personal years from now.
Trends will always change. Materials will age. Lives will evolve.
Good design should have the depth to evolve with them.
For me, that is the essence of luxury — not excess, but intention.
Not more.
Just better.
